Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Contribute to design, development, troubleshooting, debugging, evaluating, modifying, deploying, and document software and systems.
• Designing solutions for complex business and technical requirements.
• Building scalable, highly resilient software with adequate logging.
• Enable the deployment, support, and monitoring of software across test, integration, and production environments.
• Functions as a core member of an Agile team driving User story analysis & elaboration, design and development of software applications, testing & builds automation tools.
• Primary focus is spent in writing code, API specs, conducting code reviews & testing in ongoing sprints or doing proof of concepts/automation tools.
• Implement the best software practices that produce maintainable code, including usability patterns, code style conformity, integration and unit testing.
• Demonstrate increased self-reliance to achieve team goals.
• Demonstrate ability to develop and document technical and functional specifications and analyze software and system processing flows.
• Demonstrate ability to investigate problems quickly to find root causes and implement required fixes.
• Partner with Technology leaders, Product Owners & Business SMEs to ensure an aligned solution is designed.
• Influence team members with creative changes and improvements by challenging status quo.

Minimum Qualifications
• 10+ years of software development experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working in Agile, Scrum, or other rapid application development teams to deliver technology solutions on time and to spec.
• 6+ years of experience with at least 2 or more in - Java/SpringBoot/Python/PySpark/Scala/GoLang
• Hands on experience with large scale code bases and applications with very high-volume transactions dealing with but not limited to –
o Reactive Programming methodology
o Event Driven Programming methodology
o Business and Domain Driven Programming
o Work in a large team environment where the common code is shared and curated with utmost care
• Extensive Experience on tools/frameworks/utilities listed but not limited to –
o Git, Maven
o Jacoco, Sonar
o Cucumber, BDD features, Gherkin, Glue
o Kafka, MQ, Pub/Sub
o PostgreSQL, Cassandra, Redis
o Cloud Computing, Docker, Kubernetes
• Experience working with Cloud-native applications would be preferred.
• Experience working in Credit Card domain would be preferred.
• Proven ability to work autonomously and adjust quickly to shifting priorities, multiple demands, and rapid change.
• Experience in building Continuous delivery pipeline, Integration and Deployment, DevOps, and test-driven development.
• Strong analytical skills and rigor - ability to source and interpret data/facts in a meaningful way.

Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in computer science / Information Technology or 10+ years of Industry experience.
