Responsibilities:
Functioning as senior member of an Agile team helping drive consistent development practices (tools, common components, and documentation).
Working closely with Product Owners in analyzing business features and refining them to appropriately support design and build activities.
Performing all technical development and support for assigned applications including architecture, design, developing prototypes, supporting platform upgrades would also needed
Hand-on architecture knowledge working closely with technical architects and design review would be needed
Enabling the deployment, support, and monitoring of software across test, integration, and production environments
Manages and mentors teams of junior and senior engineers through ongoing sprints
Having experience on Micro-strategy and Google Cloud platform would be a plus
Help craft the direction of machine learning and artificial intelligence at AmEx
Qualification :
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Statistics or related fields.
7+ years of software development experience
Strong analytical skills and programming skills, with experience with deployment in production environment.
4+ years hands-on experience with the following technologies:
Python
Big Data – Spark/Hive
Microstrategy
Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform( Big Query, Data Proc, GCS), Spark.
Knowledge on Tableau is good to have.
Implementation or working experience of Continuous Integration and Continues Delivery using tools and automation capabilities such as Jenkins, Git, Stash and Jira
Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment
Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external business partners
