Role Description:
Responsibilities:
Responsible for requirements gathering, documentation of solution design, documenting business scenarios and performing a variety of change and implementation management activities Can be required to support change management activities spanning from early change planning and audience analysis; through to designing and delivering change interventions (e.g. communications, training, support, organization alignment); and tracking and taking actions on change readiness, adoption, and feedback Responsible for Implementation Management, including planning, controlling and reporting on implementation of the change 'product', focusing on accelerating benefits and minimizing risk during deployment
Senior Business Analysts will often play a people / team management role within the projects / programmes they work on
Role Requirements Strong Business Analyst with Financial Services experience
"Knowledge of one or more of the following domains (including market data vendors):
• Party/Client

• Market and/or Credit Risk"
Influence a cross-functional/cross-cultural team and the performance of individuals/teams against performance objectives and plans

Support the PMO and delivery managers in documenting accurate status reports as required, in a timely manner.
Must demonstrate strong business knowledge and sound business sense, and stay abreast of the industry, business-wise and technology-wise
Stakeholder complexity – Senior Business Analysts will often need gather requirements and agree designs across stakeholders, dealing with different interests and resolving disagreements and conflicts, and sometimes needing to challenge poor requirements and design decisions
Understanding complex change or remediation activities
Multi-disciplinary – Senior Business Analysts need to be able to shape business requirements and solution designs that encompass all aspects of the delivery (customer, people, process, policy, technology - system, data, infrastructure, etc)
Strong self-starter with strong change delivery skills who enjoys the challenge of delivering change within tight deadlines
Structured and organized analyst with strong data and business analysis skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities
Experience of big data programmes preferable
Enthusiastic and energetic problem solver to join an ambitious team
Business analysis skills, defining and understanding requirements
Attention to detail
Good knowledge of SDLC and formal Agile processes, a bias towards TDD and a willingness to test products as part of the delivery cycle
Ability to communicate effectively in a multi-programme environment across a range of stakeholders
For Senior BAs: proven track record of managing small delivery-focused data teams
