We're seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Associate, Marketing - Marketing & Communications (Commentary Analyst) to join our Investment Management team. This role is located in Pune, MH – HYBRID.
In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
To ensure that commentary is produced, reviewed and delivered for the different reporting purposes in line with schedule, including professional commentary for monthly and quarterly reports; consumer commentary for annual and mid-year statutory fund reports. Commentary needs to be reviewed for accuracy and appropriate to the intended audience, adhering to regulatory requirement at all times.
Responsibilities:
Monthly commentary review and self-cert approval.
Quarterly commentary review and self-cert approval.
Monthly and Quarterly ad-hoc and on request bespoke report creation
Report & Accounts (R&A) fund and macro commentary: review and compliance approval.
Assessment of value – management of the commentary delivery into product marketing.
Vendor management: take responsibility for and oversee the production chain for all commentary to ensure delivery in a timely and accurate manner. Manage external and internal partner relationships between Copylab and BNY Investments and investment firms.
Management of WorkFront programs to ensure appropriate approvals are documented and final approved commentary is maintained for audit purposes.
Delivery of commentary to relevant recipients – Doc Gen for monthly/quarterly and Fund Operations for annual reports.
Act as key point of contact for all queries regarding provision and production of monthly and quarterly commentaries as well as R&As from investment firms.
Key point of contact with investment firms, ensuring proper guidance and guidelines are received and manage escalation to ensure deadlines to production are met.
Initiate production process for new fund commentaries approved for production and addition to R&A's.
Review production list to align with focus/priorities
Glossary, ensure additional terms are added to the consumer glossary.
Provide update to EMEA product marketing on production process and escalate any issues or delays.
Be aware of current regulatory and legal obligations of the function managed.
Report any suspected breaches to the Compliance or Legal departments, as appropriate, immediately on discovery. Risk Management
Monitor, document and report business risks and internal controls of the function managed, alerting Senior Management immediately of any significant changes. Business Continuity
Maintain and test a current and effective continuity plan to ensure an appropriate response to any disruption to systems, information services, communications and office facilities.
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
Excellent English language skills, both written and spoken with the ability to understand nuances in language to identify promissory statements, and avoid MAR.
