We're seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Associate, Data Transfer, Integration & Quality to join our Payments Enablement Platform, in the Data Services team. This role is located in Pune, Maharashtra, India - HYBRID.
In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
Analyses and defines data requirements and functional or operational specifications for small to moderate sized projects of limited complexity.
Collects and defines business or functional data requirements.
Participates in development requirements by analyzing appropriate data sets and creating process flows and identifying changes, focusing on data quality, controls, completeness, and usability.
Uses knowledge of business needs to provide data design support for software and application development.
Provides supporting data analysis of business issues or client feedback for a specific function or application.
Responsible for owning and escalating as appropriate risks, issues, and dependencies at pod level.
Supports data testing of new or enhanced applications and/or systems. Tasks include case development, requirement traceability analysis, test preparation, script writing, and functional test execution.
Identifies areas for improvement and works with Data Services pods to improve data business use.
Support Product Owner(s) with pod backlog management.
Uses general knowledge of regulatory and legal requirements and BNY corporate policies involving risk and control to support the development and enhancement of data sources.
No direct reports but may provide guidance to less experienced colleagues.
Contributes to the achievement of pod and group objectives.
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
2 or more years of total work experience preferred. Previous data analysis experience preferred.
Knowledge of SQL, Python, visualization tools and techniques, and database architecture is desired.
Knowledge of the Agile software development process.
Knowledge and experience of project execution.
Stakeholder management experience.
Strong organizational skills.
Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
Knowledge and experience in the use of tools such as: Jira, Confluence etc.
