Department Profile
The Fixed Income Division is comprised of Interest Rate and Currency Products, Credit Products and Distribution. Professionals in the Division assess and actively manage risk, trade securities, and structure as well as execute innovative transactions in the fast-paced and constantly changing global markets. The Commodities Division is a market leader in energy, metals, and agricultural product trading worldwide whose professional's trade in both physical and derivative commodity risk.
Background on the Team
The Fixed Income Structuring team is charge of marketing structured solutions and derivatives tailored to macro conditions across FX, Interest Rates, Credit and Commodities. The team partners with trading desks to optimize the firm's risk and revenue positions, at the same time work closely with sales force across Fixed Income, Equity, and IBD to come up with investment products and hedging solutions suitable for institutional investors.
Responsibilities
·Pricing FX and Interest Rates derivatives like (but not only) First-generation exotics, multicurrency options, volatility derivatives, and hybrid products
·Assessing Capital, XVA and Credit requirements of specific transactions
·Collaborating with key sales and trading partners across the firm to design, model, market FX/IR structured solutions to Institutional, Corporate, and Wealth Management clients in the region
·Working closely withinternal trading desks in defining trading charges and discussing book hedging strategies
·Coordinate the execution process across multiple desks, from sales to trading, legal and other internal functions, as well as interface with our clients
Skills desired
·An undergraduate degree in a quantitative degree
·Previous experience as a FX/IR structurer within a top tier firm
·A good understanding of different aspects of the FX/IR market and derivatives
·A good balance of quantitative, commercial and communication skills is required as the candidate is expected to be involved in marketing complex products across Asia.
·The candidate shall spend most of her/his time on highly tailor made transactions, hence is expected to have a solution driven mind-set and to add value across each phase of the project.
