Role Overview
This senior Workday analyst should be an inquisitive, energetic, and collaborative team member who can assist with Trimble's goal of continually increasing Workday's efficiency and functionality in its work environment. Working collaboratively, this position will assist with a broad range of activities including configuration, testing, and troubleshooting, and experience with other Workday modules, specifically recruiting and security, are a plus. The role's primary responsibility is to support complex integration configuration (Workday Studio, APIs, BIRT) with the opportunity to learn specific module support and configuration.
Roles & Responsibilities
Work independently on technically advanced configuration projects with the ability to clearly communicate project status, connect with stakeholders to gather requirements, and ask for support and guidance from the team when necessary.
Consider end to end test scripts when working on new configuration, and can utilize big picture thinking to plan new configuration effectively for a large organization and technical ecosystem.
Supports global ticketing system which can include requests such as general troubleshooting and PX requests from global stakeholders.
Assist with testing of new Workday functionality and regular Workday release updates.
Replicates and verifies customer issues and handles them appropriately as a People Systems SME
Mentor and train junior team members on Workday integration concepts and best practices.
Serve as project owner for new Workday initiatives, including assistance with configuration, data loads, and testing.
Measure of success
Effectively analyzes, troubleshoots and resolves HRIS issues to completion; focuses on continuous improvement, tenant optimization.
Assists in effective review, testing and implementation of Workday updates.
Ability to provide accurate and timely data for audit documentation requests, ticket requests, and general People Systems inquiries.
Participates as part of the team responsible for Trimble's Workday support help desk which services employee questions, data requests, report requests, access issues, including global WD accounts and supervisory organization maintenance.
Create EIB loads, including ensuring that data is complete and accurate prior to completing the loads. These can include mandatory pay increase EIBs, acquisition data loads, and reorgs. Teams with PX Partners and People Ops to maintain data integrity.
Education, Experience & other qualification requirements
5+ years supporting HRIS systems and at least 3-4 years of technical Workday experience (9+ years relevant work experience).
Experience in supporting a global ticketing system for PX systems.
Experience in maintaining/creating documentation and effectively explaining requirements, design, development, and testing.
Hands on experience with web services (SOAP, REST) ,integration protocols (XML, JSON) , XSLT , Workday Studio and oxygen editor tool
Experience creating complex Workday calculated fields, eligibility and validation rules.
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
Excellent analytical, problem solving, and multi-tasking skills.
Ability to work independently and perform against tight deadlines and multi-task effectively.
