US Consumer Marketing– Prospect Performance Insights
How will you make an impact in this role?
The U.S. Consumer Services Team is responsible for our suite of consumer products, services, and experiences in the U.S., including our premium, cobrand, cash back, and lending portfolios, Membership Rewards, Global Travel & Lifestyle Services, the Centurion Lounge network, our Global Dining businesses, U.S. Consumer Banking, andbest-in-class marketing programs across customer, prospect, and partner channels. The USCS team is focused on making membership an indisputable competitive advantage and helping each other become better leaders every day.
TheU.S. Consumer Marketing team (USCM)is part of the US Consumer Services Group and is responsible for making membership essential by creating and delivering world class marketing for our differentiated products and services that drives demand and inspires engaged card members across the customer lifecycle. Within USCM, theMarketing Analytics & Investment Services team (MA&IS)delivers critical targeting, analytics and planning capabilities that enable USCM to make optimal investment decisions and ensure that our best current and future customers can be rewarded with great offers and marketing treatments.
Within Investment Services, the newly formedProspect & Cobrand Insights teamhas a mission to unlock performance insights in our cardmember acquisition channels and provide a holistic understanding of the revenue drivers behind over $2B in marketing.
The goal of theProspect Performance Insightsis to track and broadcast USCM business results for Prospect Acquisitions relative to goals and over time. The vision for the team is to enable leadership to view and react to marketing campaign performance in real time for agile decision making.
A key contributor and coordinator of USCM monthly performance results meeting, the Analyst will have the opportunity to communicate regularly with senior level executives, working on new views to further enhance insights and drive investment decisions. In addition, this role provides a great opportunity to gain exposure to marketing strategies and big bet initiatives as well as the drivers of results/growth. The Analyst will provide consultative support to peers and leaders in marketing channels, through strategic analytics that highlight trends, risks and opportunities and actionable business insights to improve investment efficiency.
Job Responsibilities
End-to-end ownership Prospect acquisitions reporting for marketing teams
Provision of standardized monthly dashboards that focus on specific strategic initiatives, enabling drill-down into drivers
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, able to move quickly between big picture and detail and produce meaningful conclusions to USCM leadership and the broader Blue Box
Planning and execution of business analysis, leveraging data and KPIs to drive insights into performance trajectory, in close collaboration and thought partnership with channel marketing teams
Develop strong relationships with internal colleagues and decision makers across multiple co-brand teams, FDS, Finance, channel marketing teams and leadership
Thought leadership on proposing and driving both quick wins and transformative uplift to USCM performance management capabilities
Knowledge of industry best practices to deliver the most timely and accurate results possible
Seeks new ways to improve effectiveness, understands the latest conduct risk trends and has passion for innovation
Positive approach to tackling challenges
Minimum Qualifications
2-3 years of experience in delivering reporting & insights through the analysis of complex datasets
Superior analytical skills – ability to analyze/understand large data sets, synthesize and draw out relevant insights
Strong communication and presentation skills – equally capable of interacting with peers and senior leaders
Extreme attention to detail and accuracy – strong sense of responsibility and accountability
Strong aptitude with MS-Excel and good understanding of PowerPoint presentations
Intermediate experience in SQL Server and basic knowledge of Python
Ability to excel in moments of peak demand when skillful prioritization or delegation / escalation is required
Positive approach to tackling challenges
Willingness to try different things and share new point of views, and a self-starter who can work independently
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of Tableauor PowerBI visualization tools would be an advantage
