Function Description:
This position sits within Sales Enablement, Pricing & Transformation (SPT), which is a part of the broader Global Commercial Services (GCS) organization focused on building & deploying capabilities to support frontline Sales/Account Development colleagues globally. The Field Tools, Analytics & Insights Sr. Analyst will partner with stakeholders to gather requirements, translate the requirements into User Stories/Features/Epics & work with the Technology team to ensure timely delivery of requirements. Active collaboration with various teams and driving project updates in different forums would be critical to the role.
Key Responsibilities:
Prioritize development/product deliverables in alignment with business objectives.
Understand, gather, and translate project/user requirements into well-defined features/user stories with testable acceptance criteria, via collaboration with multiple stakeholders on requirements and prioritization.
Work closely with the technology team to develop, test and deliver the defined deliverables. Perform Unit Acceptance Testing (UAT) before accepting the stories. Raise awareness if any bugs/gaps are identified and get those fixed working with the technology team. Provide proactive solutioning to any sprint blockers.
Appropriately identify and raise risks, challenges, opportunities to advance the projects.
Identify & define data quality controls & rules and set thresholds for critical data elements working in collaboration with the data stewards. Run simulations to determine thresholds & pre-implementation simulations for DQ rules.
Serve as the internal and external subject matter expert for products that your domain/business unit produces and consumes.
Participate and drive project meetings and communicate effectively with leaders, peers, architects, system analysts, project managers & others, reporting project status as required.
Support the digitization of data pipeline for Sales/AD performance monitoring including project management & communication with Senior Leaders.Writing and executing SQL queries to analyze and profile data in a big data environment to propose robust data quality controls.
Hands on work on large data sets pulled using technical languages including SQL and Python as well as standard BI toolkits such as Tableau, Power BI.
Requirements:
Curious & resourceful self-starter with the ability to navigate ambiguity and engage in structured thinking to derive relevant, data-driven insights.
Demonstrated strong project management skills with consistent record of successfully getting results on especially on cross-functional initiatives.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to support SPT Manager's and Business reviews and special projects.
Ability to adopt a business mentality, understand context and link business strategies to specific initiatives.
Comfortable juggling multiple high priority projects
Understanding of commercial payments industry and economics (preferred)
Active knowledge of Tableau, SQL, Python (Google BigQuery/Looker preferred)
Understanding of Enterprise Data infrastructure including Quality Control & monitoring
Be an agent of change, ability to initiate and adopt change.
Education Background:
Bachelor/Advanced degree in data science, computer science, information technology or in financial engineering. Master's Degree preferred.
5+ years of experience in product management, technologies project management, business/financial analysis, consulting or related preferred
Working Hours:
The general 8 hour shift timing is IST 1:30 pm – 9:30 pm. However the candidate should be flexible to support any shift between 7 am – 11:30 pm IST
