Release Manager

The IBM Software Core team is hiring for a skilled Release Manager to contribute to the successful release management of a large portfolio of IBM products. With approximately 60 services delivering on our common platform, we are searching for someone to:Create and execute release management plans including schedules and deliverable requirements based on the software category (for example, platform component or full product)
Work closely with our IBM software development teams and IBM Business Partners to achieve successful completion of all of IBM's Go-To-Market (GTM) deliverables
Serve as a credible and trusted advisor to stakeholders
Effectively mitigate release risks as they arise
Contribute innovative suggestions for process improvement and automation
Cultivate teamwork and problem-solving while working under challenging delivery expectations and deadlines
Provide leadership, mentoring, motivation to more junior team members
Ensure project completion on time and budget
