Requires a good knowledge of the range of processes, procedures and systems to be used in carrying out assigned tasks and a basic understanding of the underlying concepts and principles upon which the job is based. Good understanding of how the team interacts with others in accomplishing the objectives of the area.The role is to ensure allocation of daily tasks to Recon & Proofing Analyst, Identify and execute process improvements, ensuring accurate & timely resolutions of issues and exception raised and motivate the team towards achieving business objective.Makes evaluative judgements based on the analysis of factual information. They are expected to resolve problems by identifying and selecting solutions through the application of acquired technical experience and will be guided by precedents. Must be able to exchange information in a concise and logical way as well as be sensitive to audience diversity. Limited but direct impact on the business through the quality of the tasks/services provided. Impact of the job holder is restricted to own job.In this role, you're expected to:Allocation of daily tasks to Recon & Proofing AnalystResearching on unmatched reconciliation breaksFollowing up for closure for all aged open breaksPerforming calibration on Bi-Weekly intervalMaintain performance metrics to track defects, productivityEnsure the team provides the best productivity to meet SLA targetsMotivate the team towards achieving business objectiveSupport training for new staffs. Ensure training and parallel run are well planned and executed without impact on deliveryEffective planning of leaves, backups, trainings of the workforceEnsure tracking, accurate and timely resolutions of issues and exception raisedIdentify and execute process improvementsMaintain good Client relationship & perceptionBridge the knowledge gaps of the teammatesWork collaboration with the team and the managerAssist unit for audit preparation and necessary actions for clean audit resultsSupport in Performing daily, weekly and monthly cash and position reconciliations including data entry for general ledger entries as and when requiredMaintain communication lines with all stakeholders to keep them informed and to escalate any risks and/or issues appropriately and in a timely mannerAs a successful candidate, you'd ideally have the following skills and exposure:6+ years reconciliation or accounting experienceStrong interpersonal skillsStrong computer skills with advanced knowledge of MS EXCELGood written/oral communication skillsOrganized and ability to multitaskFlexible – ability to handle changing prioritiesAbility to liaise with demanding clients/service teamsAbility to work independently within a team environmentExposure to recon based applications such as TLM, Recon Portal, Frontier, etc., this will be an added advantageExperience in a control, process or reconciliation environment and people management experience adds advantageEducation:Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experienceWorking at Citi is far more than just a job.
