The solution is based on Ericsson Cloud Container Distribution (a CNCF-certified CaaS), Ericsson Software Defined Infrastructure providing efficient hardware management, Operations Management for Cloud Infrastructure (OMC) and E-VNFM (Enhanced VNF Manager) to enable application orchestration using standardized workflowsEricsson Operations Manager Cloud Infrastructure [OMC] aims at simplifying NFVI solution operations in centralized & distributed deployments. OMC is a GUI based application that provides a coordinated platform for managing NFVI components in a geographically distributed cloud infrastructure, enables secure and hierarchical multi-tenancy for this cloud infrastructure. OMC product addresses NFVI Infrastructure FM, PM, Logging and Lifecycle Management requirements of Telco Operators.Job Summary:The job of the developer role includes development activities (requirement analysis, application design & development, automation of unit testcases, integration in CI CD, tools / simulators, Product Lifecycle Management support & product documentation). Our focus is on Agile ways of working. We prioritize in multi-functional development teams in which continuous improvement, innovation and knowledge sharing will be part of the daily work. This job provides an opportunity to work on innovative technologies, latest 5G product development on Cloud native technologies.What you will doAs Software Developer, you will be part of Operations Manager Controller [OMC] product development team used in Ericsson's Cloud Native Infra Structure product, a critical node in Ericsson's 5G portfolio.Your responsibilities include• Cloud Native Application SW development in Python• Automation of Unit and functional testcases in Python & Robot framework• Develop good quality design documents• Drive Continuous Improvements• Demonstrate Behavioral Competences• Help & Collaborate with teams• Fact based decisions• Implement Speedily through CI CD & automation• Adapting & Responding to change like learning new coding languages / technologies / WoW• Be Innovative• Deliver Results to meet Customer ExpectationsYou will bring• Proficiency in developing optimized code with excellent programming skills in Python• In depth knowledge & hands-on cloud native application development experience in• Cloud Native Architecture & Microservice Architecture• Related stacks (RSYSLOG, Kafka, Elasticsearch, Logstash, Prometheus, Flask, Gunicorn, NGINX, service registry, VMs, etc.)• Container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)• Linux based Operating Systems and Rest APIs• Well versed with virtualization concepts including docker, Kubernetes, virtual machine, Linux Containers & hypervisors• Ability to develop feature/module through concept, design, adherence to architecture guidelines• Strong experience in writing & automation of Unit & functional test cases in Python using Robot framework & integration in CI CD environment using Jenkins• Proficient in Agile methodologies, Git, Gitlab, Gerrit and use of JIRA for efficient task managementWhy join Ericsson?At Ericsson, you´ll have an outstanding opportunity.
