Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

We are looking for people for Patient Analytics team to participate in a wide range of projects (i.e. health economics/modelling, Patient Journey, Targetting and Segmentation etc.)
The candidate will work in collaboration with Patient Analytics team to design best. appropriate research methodology and test hypothesis of various research ideas using claims datasets.
The candidate will be responsible for applying advanced analytics techniques to extract actionable insights.
As part of their role, they need to assess effective ways of presenting and delivering the results to communicate relevant scientific information to internal and external stakeholders.
The candidate’s main responsibility will be to execute and collaborate with both clients and fellow team members to identify and implement solutions.

Qualifications

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

5-8 years of experience in a position creating insights from Healthcare real-world data and working with large datasets (open/closed-claims).
5-8 years of experience working with healthcare concepts and coding systems like ICD-10, RxNorm, NDCs, HCPCS, LOINC, CPT, SnoMed.
Proficiency in the following programming and analysis tools:

SQL
Microsoft Excel
Python (intermediate level is acceptable)
Visualization tools (Tableau or PowerBI) is nice to have.

Strong problem solving, quantitative and analytical abilities.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Significant consideration will be given to prior publications, independent software projects completed, and non-proprietary code authored by the candidate.
Applicants with experience working with healthcare specific datasets (eg claims, EMR) will be considered favorably.
