We are looking for Production Supervisor (Assembly)
You'll make a difference by
Prepare
daily production plan and pass on the team daily for the production target
Conduct
standing meeting to progress everyday and align for the weekly / monthly target
for the production.
Manage
all internal stake holders for maintaining the production without disruption.
Update
the daily production updates to management with daily KPI target vs actuals.
Confirming
the production by first time right by ensuring in production quality control
and mitigation for the quality issues without making any delay in production.
Upgrading
production skills by job rotation in the team so on job skills development can
be done during normal production for the key manufacturing process.
Supervises
Siemens and Indian Railways staff to produce manufactured products and
organizes and monitors workflow.
Timely
handover of complete assembled Locomotive to the testing team adhering the
timeline, quality, and cost.
Accomplishes
manufacturing results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring,
and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees;
and initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
Creates
assembly flow process and required manpower at each station and allocates job
cards to Indian Railways Staff and Siemens Employees.
Co-ordinates
with Indian Railway officials for manpower and operations.
Ensures
not only assembly quality but also the health of the machinery along with best
EHS practices.
Supports
in Recruitment, selection, onboarding, training, and mentoring employees.
Maintains
workflow by monitoring and upgrading processes, setting processing variables,
observing control points and equipment, monitoring personnel and resources,
studying methods, implementing cost reductions, developing reporting procedures
and systems, facilitating corrections to malfunctions within process control
points, and initiating and fostering a spirit of cooperation within and between
departments.
Completes
production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel, accomplishing work
results, establishing priorities, monitoring progress, revising schedules,
resolving problems, and reporting results of the processing flow on shift
production summaries.
Maintains
quality service by establishing and enforcing production standards maintaining
5s in shopfloor.
Ensures
operation of equipment by calling for repairs and evaluating new equipment and
techniques.
Provides
manufacturing information by compiling, initiating, sorting, and analyzing
production performance records and data, and answering questions and responding
to requests.
Creates
and revises systems and procedures by analyzing operating practices,
record-keeping systems, forms of control, and budgetary and personnel
requirements, and implementing change.
Follows
up with Delivery Managers for timely delivery of material for Production.
Maintains
safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use
of all control points, equipment, and resources, and maintaining compliance
with established policies and procedures.
Maintains
working relationship with union members and representatives by following the
terms of the collective bargaining agreement.
Resolves
personnel problems by analyzing data, investigating issues, identifying
solutions, and recommending action.
Maintains
professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops,
benchmarking state-of-the-art practices.
Contributes
to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Desired Skills:
Graduate
in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
Should
have at least 8-10 years' experience in rolling stock domain. Experience in
Rolling Stock Production, and Leading People.
Should
be proficient in English and Hindi. Fluency in Gujrati is added benefit.
Strong
communication and organizational skills
Proficiency
in using Microsoft office suite and administrative applications.
Self-motivated
with a results-driven approach with problem solving skills.
