As an Integration Engineer & Solution Architect, you will be will be responsible for understanding new and future use-cases in the market and prototype them. The candidate is expected to have a good overview of Product Management practices, but also be a hands-on technical engineer. The candidate will also be collaborating with other groups in IBM, in analysing and testing various hypothetical possibilities and come out with inputs feeding into the prototype development. For this specific role, the candidate is expected to have deep handson experience in building AI applications, possess a solid understanding of Generative AI models, and also have a deep understanding about Knowledge Graphs.
As an Incubation Engineer, you will be expected to:Understand customer's technical requirements & be the voice of the customer user personas
Build Proof-of-Concept pods & demonstration test beds
Suggest solution architectures based on IBM's larger portfolio
Document solutions and produce white-papers
Prepare customer facing technical presentations & conduct product adoption workshops with end-user personas
Drive grouping and prioritisation of customer requirements
Work with the sales teams and customers to ensure products continually meet market requirements while maintaining business objectives
Gather and analyse all available research and data sources to continually refine and improve all aspects of the product
General expectations
Experience with Telco and Edge environments including networks and infrastructure management
Be hands on in various cloud and enterprise networking scenarios, such as building networks, deploying controllers and demonstrating solutions
Be comfortable in automating scenarios using one or more scripting languages. Be comfortable in Infra Automation packages such as Terraform or Ansible
Be comfortable in understanding various routing protocol and security configurations
Coordinate with Product Management, Sales and Marketing teams to develop technical solution documents such as design documents, white papers and presentations
Monitor competitor capabilities, and produce comparative research reports
Be comfortable in learning and trying out new solutions
