We are looking for a skilledPL/SQL Developer with APEX expertiseto join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing database-driven applications using Oracle PL/SQL and Oracle Application Express (APEX). This role involves working closely with stakeholders to design efficient and scalable solutions while ensuring data integrity and application performance.
Key Responsibilities
Application Development:Design and develop web-based applications using Oracle APEX.
Write and optimize complex PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and triggers.
Performance Tuning:Monitor and optimize SQL queries, PL/SQL code, and database performance.
Debug and resolve performance bottlenecks in APEX applications.
Maintenance & Support:Troubleshoot issues related to PL/SQL code, APEX applications, and data inconsistencies.
Provide ongoing support for deployed APEX applications and database systems.
Documentation:Create and maintain technical documentation for code, processes, and system configurations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Technical Expertise:5+ years of experience in PL/SQL development.
Strong experience in Oracle APEX (versions 19.x and above preferred).
Proficiency in writing and debugging SQL queries, views, and materialized views.
Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and REST APIs as used in APEX.
Experience with Oracle database architecture, including indexes, partitions, and performance tuning.
Problem Solving:Strong analytical and debugging skills to resolve complex database and application issues.
Tools & Technologies:Familiarity with Oracle tools like SQL Developer, TOAD, and Oracle Forms/Reports.
Knowledge of version control systems like Git.
Communication:Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in Oracle Cloud APEX or other cloud environments.
Oracle Database or APEX certification is a plus.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
