A Brief Overview
The People Operations Specialist is an integral member of the People Team whose responsibilities span the full lifecycle of internal colleague and temporary workers. They will maintain the integrity and accuracy of all new hire, on-going data changes and offboarding requests within TriNet's system of record (Oracle Human Capital Management – HCM). This individual will interact with all levels of the business to effectively manage their data needs, share best practices for using our people tools and ensure sound compliance.

What you will do
Partner with Talent Acquisition Team to collect and enter all new colleague data into Oracle HCM, filing related paperwork within appropriate electronic files (document of record - DOR). 
Verify paperwork is complete and accurate (i.e., all the information matches such as compensation, physical work locations and social security numbers). 
Maintain new hire spreadsheets to support orientations and to complete audit procedures. 
Educate requestors with best practices for using appropriate workflow approvals via self-service functionality within Oracle HCM, auditing records for completeness and approve all transactions; requests could include manager changes, transfers, promotions, or salary changes.  
Respond to termination requests through Oracle HCM by collaborating with People Business Partners, Security, and line managers on timing of departures and capturing required documentation. 
Launch offboarding tasks to departing colleagues and provide related documentation, tracking requests to completion.  
Respond to and investigate inquiries from various teams such as People Business Partners, Corporate Payroll, and line managers both via email and through MYHR Service Requests.  
Support large organizational data changes that may be considered confidential or sensitive, using discretion in communicating updates.  
Coordinate workloads with global counterparts to ensure SLAs are met and consistent support is available to the business. 
Complete audits for individual compensation payouts, in partnership with People Operations and Corporate Payroll.  
Support internal audit walkthroughs by researching scenarios, providing samples, and attending sessions as a process SME, as needed. 
Maintain detailed SOPs, reference guides and workflows as department processes change and iterative improvements are released in our systems.  
Support TriNet's contingent worker program by managing data changes, as needed.  
Performs other duties as assigned

Education Qualifications
H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred or  equivalent education and work experience  

Experience Qualifications
Typically 2+ years experience with applying human resource practices and procedures to effectively evaluate and manage varied data requests required 
Typically 1+ years experience with managing data in Oracle HCM's Core HR module preferred  

Skills and Abilities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to investigate discrepancies, rectify problems and provide feedback to colleagues at all levels of the organization. (Advanced proficiency)
