Roles & Responsibilities: -
Planning & execution for manufacturing of Steam Turbines to meet the delivery requirements within time, quality and costs (as specified by the Customer) within the framework of policies and guidelines of SL and SAG with the objective of achieving and exceeding the business goals of the Factory.
AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY:
Project Planning:
Planning & execution of project based on customer requirement on the details of the turbine (quality, cost and delivery)
Prepare main time schedule comprises of Engineering, purchasing, quality and manufacturing activities to enable the factory to deliver the turbines on time within quality and Costs.
Order Execution (Factory Scope):
Monitor all activities for engineering, procurement and in-house manufacturing based on main time schedule.
Real time update of schedule to ensure bottleneck and control on projects.
Daily updation of activities in schedule with the support of team member to know the status.
Different scenario to be prepared and implemented during execution to ensure on time delivery.
Make and buy strategy based on capacity planning
Vendor load planning to be managed through scheduling.
Reports/ Dashboard reports to be prepared and published based on KPI & department objectives.
Review with team, CFT and Managerand raise flag if any bottlenecks to ensure proper mitigation.
Capacity planning in the schedule for all work centers, projects, probable and upcoming projects to support his manager to take call to except or reject new project.
Collaboration with all cross functional team to keep project tracking.
Issue Job cards and Production orders for Manufacturing of in-house components.
COMPETENCIES:
Knowledge of Factory Planning and Procurement Process – Methodologies
Contract Management
Knowledge of Manufacturing processes
Product Knowledge – steam turbines Applications
Commercial Concepts
Knowledge of MS project / Prima Vera
Knowledge of SAP PP module and MM module
Knowledge of ISO & EHS documentation
Knowledge of NC management
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENT:
B.E / B.Tech. Mechanical Engineering from reputed college
2-3 years of experience in Heavy engineering industry
Basic knowledge of power plants (preferred) and steam turbines.
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Inclination towards new learning and good team player
