Purpose of the job
The Operations Managers maintains ownership of the financial closing processes, by planning, monitoring and driving all financial closing activities and by performing detailed reporting and analysis. The role further includes: owning and organizing meeting structures with RFC, providing follow-up in case of performance or timing issues, structurally performing evaluations and improvements of the closing processes. Closing processes comprise related activities within the teams of accounting to reporting, Intercompany accounting & reconciliation, Asset accounting and CFA/Tax departments.Managing the people, stakeholders, and organization initiatives and ensure all KPI as well as agreed SLA are met.

Key Responsibilities :
Responsible for managing the team involved in month end close, reconciliations, audit support, fixed assets, VAT and Intercompany
Co-ordinate with multiple teams / stakeholders and proactively identify and resolve issues.Ensure all tasks are completed by the team as per agreed SLA's
Trial Balance review and variance analysis during close.Review Balance sheet reconciliations done by the team on a monthly basis.Perform daily / weekly / monthly audits as per the process requirement
Support preparation of standard and ad hoc management reports. Work on other special projects as needed.Support External/Internal Audit process and act as a SPOC during audits
Identifying improvement opportunities within the process and working closely with the team members and Continuous Improvement team to implement the changes
Preparing and publishing process metrics on a monthly basis.Conduct monthly one on ones and provide feedback
You Bring
Bachelor's degree in commerce / MBA in Finance / CA Inter / CA
Overall Experience 9-12 years + People Management Experience 3-5 years
Very good accounting knowledge & good knowledge of SAP FiCo
Good knowledge of fiscal reporting requirements
Knowledge in Blackline Reconciliation Tool (preferred)
Knowledge of IFRS (preferred)
