About this opportunity
We are looking for a candidate to act as an Operation Product Owner (OPO), to lead the development of our Cognitive Software portfolio,
in particular for 2 use cases related to Uplink Anomaly Detector 4G & 5G. The 2 development teams assigned have accomplished 6 out of 7 sprints for our
Restricted Availability release, and we need additional capacity to support & prepare the post-RA scope, which includes the following tasks: to prioritize
functional & non-functional items for GA and beyond, with the SPM, maximizing our product value, to breakdown it down into a development backlog that is
understandable and achievable by the 2 development teams, to coordinate the release plan and iteration with the scrum master and line manager, to manage
technical debt and other improvements, to ensure JIRA is up-to-date, considering the F-checks, dependencies & DoD. Besides, we will need to prepare for new
use cases which will be developed around H2 2025.
Important: This position will start as a rotation assignment for a period of 3 months, and could formalize, or not, as a permanent role.
The position is based out of our R&D site in Bangalore, India, and presence at the office 3 days/week is requested, as per our latest work policy.
What you will do
We expect you to lead product & software development, to understand the product life cycle and, to have proficient knowledge about network optimization, operations, and machine learning. You will need to be creative, innovative, and capable to lead others under tough time/budget/quality constraints.
Drive technology, software application and support business decisions.
Translate product manager's strategy & vision into software application specifications, low-level roadmap, and actionable tasks. Define & refine business requirements.
Fine tune the roadmap & milestones based on bandwidth.
Maintain, enrich, prioritize, and visualize the product backlog.
Assign content & support multi-functional agile teams into their development.
Work with the system architect to govern the development progress to ensure the result is aligned with the agreed expectations and timelines.
Accountable for product features development & release, hence responsible to understand product ecosystem inside-out, and to strategically guide the development.
Identify dependencies, risks & mitigate conflicts/issues.
Ensure way of working and process alignment.
You will bring
Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
Validated experience as a Product Owner or similar role leading software development.
Deep knowledge of cloud-native software technology, building highly scalable large-scale cloud-native applications. Network optimization & operation business is a plus.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
Experienced with Agile methodologies.
High energy and ability to meet commitments.
Ability to prioritize and lead multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Analytical approach with a focus on data-driven decision making.
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
Fluent English is a must; written and spoken.
