About this opportunity:
As a Network Engineer with a focus on SDN, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and managing our advanced network infrastructure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the efficient and secure operation of network systems, leveraging your expertise in SDN technologies to drive innovation and optimization.
What you will do:
Design, deploy, and manage scalable and secure network architectures with a focus on SDN technologies.
Collaborate with IT and business teams to understand network requirements and develop solutions that align with organizational goals.
Implement and maintain network monitoring and management tools to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and impact on business operations.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve network infrastructure.
Develop and maintain comprehensive network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and processes.
Participate in capacity planning and network performance analysis to support growth and scalability.
Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices to protect network integrity and data privacy.
The skills you bring:
2-5 years of experience in network engineering, with a strong emphasis on SDN technologies.
Proficiency in SDN platforms such as OpenFlow, Cisco ACI, VMware NSX, or similar.
Solid understanding of networking protocols, including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, and VPNs.
Experience with network automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Ansible).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent) are a plus.
