Network Administator

JOB DESCRIPTION :We are looking for a Network Administrator to maintain, upgrade and manage our networks.Resourcefulness is a necessary skill in this role. You should be able to diagnose and resolve problems quickly.Your goal will be to ensure that our technology infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently.Responsibilities :Troubleshoot issues and outagesEnsure security through access controls and firewallsUpdate firmware with new releases and modelsDevelop expertise to train staff on new technologiesBuild an internal wiki with technical documentation, manuals and IT policiesAbility to ensure network services are configured, optimized and supported to achieve highavailability and functionality.Lead or participate in projects to improve network services and develop procedures to supportnewly implemented technologiesCapacity to communicate technical concepts in simple terms; ability to communicate with co-workers and work with people of diverse backgrounds and experiencesMUST be able to shift priorities daily to meet the needs and demands of our clientsMUST be able to manage your time effectively without excessive supervision or interventionMUST enjoy and be able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while staying calm andfocusedAbility to work in flexible hours (as and when required)Professional conduct.Skills: Network AdministratorConfiguration and Troubleshooting knowledge of SSL VPNs.Basic LAN configuration understanding - Vlans, Trunks, Ether-channels, STP, SPAN, RSPAN, interVLAN routingShould be able to Analyze Traces / Logs received from customer / field.Good understanding of Protocols (All layers) TCP, IP, UDP, SMTP, LDAP, TELNET, SSH, PORTNumbers.Good knowledge of services like DHCP, NTP, ARP, NAT, and ACL.Good knowledge in Networking devices Switches, Routers and Dell SonicWALL Firewalls, DellSRA/SMA Device, Meraki firewalls and WAPs(RuckusCiscoMeraki)
