Direct Flash Module (DFM) – is the key storage module in PURE's Flasharray and Flashblade Enterprise storage solutions. The DFM is an internally developed enterprise-class storage device using NAND flash technology, and is designed by the Datastore team. The Datastore team develops the Hardware and Firmware to produce DFMs that lead the industry in numerous metrics. Compared with off-the-shelf SSDs, our DFMs provide competitive advantages by delivering simplicity, high performance, high quality, low cost and scalability.
As a member of the NAND & Drive Qualification team, you'll be actively engaged in all phases of the product development cycle with a focus on demonstrating the capabilities of PURE's DFMs. Your leadership in areas of test, troubleshooting, assessments of results and team engagement will be utilized to drive progress with qualification efforts. You'll manage drive qualifications, which includes executing tests, driving analysis of issues, and guiding expectations based on testing results. A major element of the role is driving efficiency in the execution of our demonstrations, and you will be involved in developing and refining test code in our highly automated test environment.
