As a Manager for Cloud Operation team you will be responsible for leading and coordinating operational activities for externally facing Cloud services, staging and development environments for development team. This role will require working closely with cross functional teams to ensure that the operational needs of cloud services are met with a focus on cost, quality, availability and security.
A functional leader that develops a team of program managers that also operates across all levels of the company and can drive strategic initiatives as well as product development in realizing our company's
vision. Technical and solutions manager of program management responsible for leading agile crossfunctional team of Systems and SW Engineers, Test Engineers, Operations, etc. from initial concept to
deployment. Meets complex program goals for product performance, quality goals, regulatory compliance requirements, cost, schedule and development budget. Responsible for working with Product Management,
Marketing, and Experience Designers to define the product, solidify the business case, and author the product and experience specifications. Given our multitude of design and development partners, you will
participate with negotiations involving Business Development and Legal.
Responsibilities:
Team leadership for scaled Agile cross-functional innovation teams. Contribute to and promote the
development of agile skillset and capabilities within Zebra. Execute multiple limited scope projects
simultaneously or a large program with senior manager's guidance utilizing modern project
management methodologies to ensure maximum project effectiveness.
Drive execution of solutions inclusive of concept definition, requirements validation, architecture
specification, and governance compliance to our Application Lifecycle Management framework.
Ability to translate customer problems into solution requirements.
Leads system integration planning, release management, and planning for demonstrations, proof of
concepts and pilots.
Leads creating cross functional workstreams and driving execution for sales enablement,
development and deployment.
Independently building relationships and working across all relevant areas of the solution business
including Sales, Services, IT, Finance, Marketing, Product, Engineering, and Support.
Works independently with business in defining proof of value and customer's return on investment.
Organizes and presents business, technical and program reviews/status to Senior Leadership using
digital media, dashboards and JIRA agile project management tools.
Independently execute to program plan and budgets for multiple, large projects. Recommend
corrective actions and implement changes. Identify and mitigate risks; develop and implement risk
mitigation plans. Owns ensuring alignment from key leaders of milestone achievement before moving
the program forward.
May lead multiple limited to moderate scope projects simultaneously, or manage a larger program
directly. Programs may be moderate to complex in nature or one large program with cross-functional
teams in numerous locations and time zones
Independently coordinates deliverables and project assets to assist the project
team. Personally, anticipates and addresses obstacles or issues that are moderate to significant in
severity and escalates complex issues to management for assistance. Independently engages
additional resources as needed to address obstacles or delays. Adjusts the plan per management
guidelines as delays or obstacles are experienced.
Demonstrates advanced understanding of development processes and product launch scope and
activities
No supervision by management is expected in this position for complex or novel problems.
Develop and protect intellectual property; be well versed with IP fundamentals.

Take ownership of deliveries that form part of product releases in terms of Cloud tools, deployment and monitoring of cloud service.
Lead and mentor CloudOps team members to deliver high quality deliverables.
Establish as a CloudOps escalation point for production issues RCA (Root cause Analysis), fixes and deployment with out of office support as needed.
Plan, track and report project progress to internal and external stakeholders.
Understand tools and technologies to track the deliverables.
Optimize the cost for the Cloud operation - Identify oversized and idle resources and examine granular details of our spend.
Lookout for latest Cloud focused technology trends and standards.
Skills & Experience:
Experience in Cloud infrastructure tools and management.
Bachelors or master s in computer science/ Engineering with experience in managing Cloud Service infrastructure and team,
Experience in Cloud application monitoring experience in GCP / AWS.
Be able to identify opportunities for efficiency, cost reduction, and continuous improvement
A general understanding of IT infrastructure concepts (Virtual servers, networking, Load balancer, Storage, Security roles) and hands- on experience in the field of IT operations
Must be adept at experimenting with new technologies.
Project management experience using Agile/ SCRUM methodologies
Excellent people management skills to set goals, provide feedback, identify coaching/ mentoring needs and deal with conflict situations in a professional manner as per stakeholder s expectations.
Ability to identify and successfully groom new leaders in technical area for handling higher level of responsibilities.
Working experience in an offshore product setup with distributed teams will be an added advantage
Must have excellent communication (verbal & written), interpersonal, leadership, and problem- solving skills
Qualifications:
BS Electrical Engineering or Computer Science degree, or
related technical BS degree, with MS preferred
8-12+ years Engineering/Program management and Scrum
Master experience for products in fast paced
environment including minimum 2 years as team lead
/supervisor.
Strong strategic leadership and analytical skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Solid critical thinking and questioning skills
Experience leading large cross-functional teams
Self-motivated, results driven, manages risks, and thrives
in an environment of uncertainty and continuous innovation. Able
to drive definition and creation of solutions from skeleton use
cases
Experienced team builder, great at collaboration and
managing resources; proven interpersonal skills
Past responsibility for multiple significant delivered-tomarket solutions in asset intelligence (Location Services,
Machine Learning, Machine Vision).
Experience with software development best practices
including Scaled Agile, TDD and Continuous Integration; a track
record of applying these methodologies
Experience with Cloud development and
Software/Services development integration, as well as mobile
application development for Android or iOS.
Experience working independently and as part of a team
to solve difficult technical, quality, cost, and schedule
