Role Overview:
As a product marketing manager for test and measurement solutions for green tech segment (Solar & EV), you will play a pivotal role in driving our product line business growth from the segment through successful launch and positioning of new and existing products. You will work cross functionally with engineering, product management, Sales and marketing and external stake holders to align our solutions to the green tech market demands. Your key responsibilities will include market analysis, go to market strategy, messaging, product positioning, training and filed marketing including product and application presentation and demonstration.
Key Responsibilities:
Market research- Conduct market research to identify customer needs, market trends, competitive landscape within the segment related to test and measurement products and application.
Go to Market plan– Develop and implement comprehensive GTM strategies including launch plans, promotional campaigns and sales enablement material aligning with the global product teams to drive India business.
Sales enablement– Create contents to position and promote the solutions and products working closely with the marcom and sales team. Provide training and tools to the sales team including the channel partners to ensure they are well equipped to promote the products effectively. Create technical champions from the channel partner community through effective training and handholding. Creation of application notes and white papers to replicate success.
Customer engagement– engage with customers, industry bodies and key stake holders and key opinion leaders from the segment to promote our products and solutions and create opportunities for the product lines and customer preferences.
Performance metrics – Monitor and analyze product marketing performance, adjusting strategies to maximize customer engagement, funnel and sales growth of the given product lines.
Skills and Qualifications
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong public speaking and presentation skills
Strong interpersonal skills, work experience with matrix organizations are an added advantage.
Proficiency in using Microsoft and windows operating systems and applications.
Educational:
Bachelor's degree in engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation) – preferred or
Bachelor's degree in science (Physics, Electronics) or
Diploma in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Power electronics) with relevant experience too can be considered.
Work Experience:
5+ years of product management / field sales / application support in engineering products in similar segment or installation and commissioning / O&M experience in renewable energy sector with flair to sales or marketing
Travel Requirement: 50%
