Job description
Experience : 6 to 10 years
• Hands on development and designing of microservices as part of a development squad using Scrum/Kanban within a SAFe environment.
• Driving the quality and performance of owned micro-services, through the use of standards and best practices.
• Establishing a culture of continuous improvement through learning, training and coaching
• Ensuring quality is at the heart of everything you and your team does.
• Responsible for software applications design according to design best practices and customer needs.
• Ensure all the technical team has full understanding of the project design.
• Responsible for implementing the business requirements adhering to the design document of the project.
• Extensive experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs within a micro-services architecture
• Deep knowledge of Java frameworks like Sprint Boot, Apache camel
• Substantial experience in Scrum and developing through BDD/TDD, using associated tools for testing and continuous integration & deployment
• An ability to challenge others in doing what's right for the business.
• A passion for finding solutions to problems that haven't been solved before
• Experience with stream pipelines and data store technologies, including MongoDB.
• Apache camel with Spring boot/Java Development experience
• Experience of Agile delivery methodologies, understanding of SAFe would be an advantage
• Agile tools like JIRA, Confluence etc
• Experience in Jenkins, Docker, AWS
• Experience in tools like Splunk/Prometheus/Grafana/AppDynamics.
