Job Description
The Platforms and Capabilities team within Global Risk and Compliance (GRC) is responsible for building and implementing leading-edge platforms and solutions for risk management. Our vision is to "provide best-in-class Platforms and Capabilities that enable the risk management framework in GRC and across the Company and empower colleagues to excel at risk management activities."
Functional Description
This position is within GRC Platform and Capabilities team in Global Risk and Compliance Line of Business. The Data Management position will provide day strategic solutions of key Data Management & Governance functions including:
·Leads complex analyses and evaluates data to deliver detailed requirements to tech team.
·Should be capable of performing data profiling, segmentations and trend analysis.
·Handle the data exploration activities to identify the common variables across platforms and unified definition of these variables.
·Help build and co-own the roadmap for?data layer and data capabilities and monitor?progress against the roadmap.
·Independently supports product teams with advanced, complex statistical and quantitative analysis.
·Collaborate with senior business stakeholders, product owners and technology partners across multiple geographies to design and deliver critical initiatives with a high sense of urgency.
·Able to communicate detailed data insights and progress with proper visualizations and reports with all stakeholders and leaderships.
·Lead with an external perspective, challenge the status quo, and bring continuous innovation to our existing offerings.
·Manage a team of analysts to deliver outstanding solutions for Organized data layers.
·Drive automation initiatives within existing processes and fully optimize delivery effort and processing time.
·Define supplemental capabilities to support the standardized data layer
·Must have the ability to "connect the dots" between different requirements of different stakeholders.
·Following data management needs as per AEMP50
·Supporting governance best practices, as per AEMP70
·Follow industry best agile practices to deliver?key priorities.
·Identify, evaluateand Mitigate Risks well in advance.
·Able to perform statistical analysis and leverage the outcome to drive strategic solutions.
·Ideate and innovate on strategic complex ecosystems
Qualifications
·Graduate or Postgraduate in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Analytics, Products, or related field.
·4-5 years relevant experience in building data capabilities or similar roles.
·Deep and broad expertise of Banking Data capabilities (BFSI) and Compliance and operationalrisk (2- 3 yrs.)
·Hands on experience on hive, SQL, spark SQL and adv?data manipulation techniques?(5-6?Yrs.)
·Exposure to data discovery, data quality and data cataloging tools. (2-3 Yrs.)
·Exposure to Big data/ cloud data lakes
·Mandatory:
oBig Data tools, including but not limited to Hive, SQL, and Spark.
Behavioral Skills/Capabilities:
·Demonstrated ability to think outside the box and design industry leading solutions
·Ability to communicate and interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
·Ability to apply thought leadership and come up with ideas
·Ability to take complete perspective into picture while designing solutions
·Use market best practices to design solutions
·Ability to drive multiple initiatives together with minimum supervision
·Strong team building and leadership characteristics will be expected.
·Excellent critical thinking and attention to detail
·Good communication and persuasion skills with an ability to translate business requirements into technical requirements and design.
·Able to challenge the status quo and drive innovation by generating creative ideas and solutions
·Try new approaches when problem solving, seeking ideas, or suggestions from others as appropriate
·Carry out systematic and rational analysis to identify the root cause of problems
