How will you make an impact in this role?
The incumbent would be part of the Regulatory Decision Science team reporting into Director - Regulatory Decision Science and will lead a team of 4 risk management professionals. The incumbent is expected to provide thought leadership to manage Regulatory Risk Models (CCAR/CECL/IFRS9).
Develop, implement, and monitor statistical models used to forecast credit loss under various macro-economic scenarios for regulatory use-case (CCAR/CECL/IFRS9).
Design and develop benchmark Machine Learning models that help make better business decisions under different economic environment and create efficiencies in the existing processes.
Providing modeling support and expertise on credit loss forecasting to various cross-functional teams, including Finance, Corporate Planning, Treasury, Model Validation, Audit and Customer Management.
Leveraging Stress Testing expertise to drive more informed business decisions, which includes providing LGS (Loss Given Stress), Recession readiness support for various business initiatives
Explore data science opportunities within the regulatory space to improve our risk discrimination and / or improve our economics over and above existing framework

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, Business Administration or related fields from Premier Institutes only
3-5 years of past experience in an Analytical/Modeling role. Experience in dealing with regulatory models is an added advantage.

Well versed in Python, PySpark, and handling big data
Should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills and a tremendous will to win.
