Maintenance Technician

Job Duties:Perform routine inspections and maintenance tasks to ensure the proper functioning of plumbing systems, including repairing leaks, replacing fixtures, and clearing blockages.Diagnose electrical issues, conduct repairs or replacements of faulty components, and ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety standards.Execute general building maintenance tasks such as painting, carpentry, and drywall repair to maintain a safe and aesthetically pleasing environment.Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies, troubleshoot problems, and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime and disruption.Conduct preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, lighting fixtures, and other building equipment to prolong their lifespan and optimize performance.Monitor and maintain inventory levels of maintenance supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock for routine tasks and unexpected repairs.Document maintenance activities, including completed repairs, parts used, and any follow-up actions required, to maintain accurate records and facilitate future maintenance efforts.Collaborate with other maintenance team members, contractors, and vendors as needed to coordinate complex repairs or projects and ensure timely completion.Uphold safety protocols and procedures at all times, identifying and addressing potential hazards to maintain a secure work environment for oneself and others.
