We're seeking a future team member for the role ofLead Technology Product owner to join our BNY team. This role is inPune, Maharashtra –HYBRID.
In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders, including traders, risk managers, quants, and IT teams, to gather and document detailed business and functional requirements for market risk applications, particularly focusing on FRTB requirements.
FRTB Implementation: Lead and participate in the design, development, and implementation of solutions aligned with FRTB regulations for Standardized Approach (SA).
Data Analysis and Modeling: Analyze large datasets related to market risk factors, trading portfolios, and regulatory capital to support the modeling and back testing requirements.
Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams to ensure clear communication and understanding of requirements, project status, and potential risks.
Testing and Validation: Develop and execute test plans, including unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure that solutions meet the specified requirements and regulatory standards.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that market risk applications are compliant with current regulatory standards, specifically FRTB, and provide support during regulatory audits.
Project Management: Coordinate and manage the timelines, deliverables, and resources for multiple concurrent projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation including business requirements, functional specifications, process flows, and user guides to support both the development and end-user teams.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve existing risk management processes and systems, leveraging new technologies and methodologies.
Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users on the use of market risk applications, particularly around new FRTB features and functionalities
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
Strong understanding of market risk concepts, including VaR, SVaR, stress testing, and scenario analysis.
In-depth knowledge of FRTB regulations SA methodologies. - Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Excel, Python). - Experience with risk management systems (e.g., Murex or equivalent). Experience in Rest web services & API Test Automation
Proficient in Performance Testing with tools like JMeter, Blaze meter will be an added advantage
Proficient in SQL Queries and ability to work with Databases
