Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Lead a team of Java developers, providing technical guidance and mentorship.
Design and develop scalable and high-performance applications using Java, Spring Boot, and related technologies.
Architect and implement microservices-based solutions leveraging Docker containers.
Develop and maintain cloud-native applications on AWS (Amazon Web Services).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and system architectures.
Ensure code quality and adherence to best practices through code reviews and continuous integration.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test, and production environments.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to propose new ideas and improvements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
6+ years of experience as a Java Developer with hands-on experience in Spring Boot framework.
Strong proficiency in designing and developing microservices architecture using Docker and container orchestration platforms.
Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, etc.
Solid understanding of RESTful API design and implementation.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor team members.

Qualifications

Preferred Skills:

Certifications in AWS or Docker are a plus.
Experience with Kubernetes or other container orchestration tools.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
