It Support

Responsibilities:Provide technical support and troubleshooting for equity trading systems, including trading platforms, market data feeds, and order management systems.Monitor system performance and availability, identifying and resolving issues to minimize downtime and ensure smooth trading operations.Assist with software installations, configurations, and updates, ensuring compatibility and compliance with regulatory requirements.Collaborate with IT infrastructure teams to maintain and upgrade servers, network devices, and other hardware supporting equity trading activities.Coordinate with software vendors and service providers to resolve technical issues and implement system enhancements.Document technical procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps for equity trading systems, contributing to knowledge sharing and training efforts.Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in equity trading technology, participating in training and professional development opportunities.Eligibility criteria:Minimum Bachelor's degree or diploma in computer science, information technology, or related.Min 1 year previous experience in a technical support role, within the same industry is an advantage.Familiarity with trading system infrastructure.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues in a fast-paced trading environment.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with traders, analysts, and other stakeholders.Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize tasks to meet tight deadlines and service level agreements.Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and trading strategies, with a keen interest in the equity markets.
