We're seeking a future team member for the role ofIntermediate Representative Data Management & Quantitative Analysis Representative I to join our BNY team. This role is located inPune, Maharashtra –HYBRID.
In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
Supports day-to-day data management activities. Monitors data feeds and performs data scrubbing for the Data Management team. Leads the daily activities of multiple Data Management teams in identifying data violations, exceptions or occurrences exceeding the tolerance threshold. Monitors work in process to maximize productivity and quality to meet deadlines and daily goals. Allocates work across teams and staff. Resolves the most complex Data Management issues that have been escalated by the team. Provides guidance to more junior staff.
Manages data on the Bank's systems and serves as the final defense for accuracy assurance. Establishes document maintenance and summarization processes and procedures to improve team efficiency and best support the Data Management and Quantitative Analysis support team. Identified as a lead for testing new software solutions or enhancements, ensuring that Data Management and Quantitative Analysis processes remain intact.
Leads team in daily activities around preparing charts, graphs or reports. Coordinates review of reports and the sharing of reports. Answers questions, advises on performance improvements and provides input on thought processes and decision making.
Responds to data-related questions from internal and external clients and helps provide solutions. Ensures that all customer responses are thoroughly documented and verified.
Primarily responsible for the accuracy and quality of own work. Work contributes to the achievement of team goals.
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
Bachelor's degree (Commerce preferred) Postgraduate in Business or the equivalent combination of education
4- 6 years of total work operations
Experience in financial services or Fund Accounting Domain is preferred.
Excellent knowledge of capital market and products like Equity bonds option futures Fixed Income
Pricing/Reference Data/ Fund accounting function related experience is an added advantage
Should be proficient in MS office and at least be at an intermediate level in Excel.
