TheManager, Global Security APACis responsible to protect our people, facilities, data, and company brand, by providing best in class Global Security solutions, services, and technology for PTC throughout Asia-Pacific (APAC), reporting directly to the Sr. Director, Head of Global Security.
Position Responsibilities:
Responsible for the execution of all global security strategic focus areas (Physical & Technical Security, Travel Risk Management, and Crisis Response & Resiliency) within region, in alignment to the Global Security Multi-Year Plan (MYP) and annual Global Security Playbook.
Builds business relationships throughout region with key company leaders, and promotes global security as a business enabler.
Develops regional global security standards and specifications, and operating procedures, and contributes to the continued development of global security worldwide policies and controls.
Leads and manages business relationships, contracts and cost for all third-party security providers, as applicable.
Develops regional based employee facing security program elements, training and services, as needed in the region.
Participates on various corporate steering committees in support of the region, related to Global Safety, Insider Threat, Workplace Violence, and Crisis Management.
Responsible for all regional security investigations.
Conducts security risk assessments for all new office builds and security improvement projects and leads all regional security projects to ensure full compliance to policy and standards.
Ensures health and maintenance of all physical security systems and software.
Owns travel risk management regionally, provides education, training and risk assessments for all PTC employees, as needed, and assists travelers in need during individual emergency or global crisis.
Provides risk based Executive Protection and Event Management coverage as needed.
Manages all required life safety emergency response teams and conducts site-based incident-based table-top exercises.
Performs as the regional global security lead and incident commander for all crisis / potential crisis within region.
Manages regional Global Security Specialist in day-to-day tasks promoting all the above.
Desired Skills
Thorough understanding of physical and technical security system design, with proven track record of successful security system installation project management.
Proven track record in managing facility-based emergencies and regional crisis incidents.
Strong decision-making skills
Ability to effectively communicate and build influential relationships at all levels of the organization, while building the Global Security brand.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proven ability to coach and develop team members
Able to interface with local, state, and federal security and emergency services personnel
Basic Qualifications
Undergraduate degree or 8+ total years' experience.
5+ years' experience in corporate / global security or similar function.
Certified Protection Professional (CPP) or equivalent.
