At Micron, we are seeking an individual with a consistent track record of optimizing inventory and ensuring material availability to join our team as Assembly and Test Supply Management (ATSM) Global Network Supply Manager supportingSMT. Asthe Global Network Supply Manager, your key responsibilities will include the comprehensive analysis and definition of material parameters to optimizing inventory and meeting the required service levels of demand. As the primary contact for supply execution, you will be tasked with communicating material forecasts to suppliers, managing supplier commitments, and taking ownership of supply shortage resolution. You will be instrumental in ensuring that capacity requirements are met and ensuring material availability. This role is pivotal in maintaining the smooth operation and success of our global manufacturing locations.
Responsibilities:
Lead cross-functional team and significant company-to-company critical issues; support partner concerns for assigned suppliers as needed
Conduct Supplier Capacity Analysis and Manufacturing Lead Time studies to improve supply assurance and providebottleneck resolution.
Publish forecast to supplier on weekly basis
Supplier product /process EOL management
Build and develop materials specific supply execution strategy, include Materials and Key Raw Materials (Tier 1) capacity planning and readiness.
Prepare and present forecast, capacity and OTD/LTD in supplier QBR commercial meeting.
Monthly survey of supplier lead-time and perform LTD/OTD metric review.
Responsible for Info record Lead time update on monthly basis
Quarterly Negotiation with supplier on Capacity and Lead time
Education
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in:
Engineering
Supply Chain Management
Related field of study
Experiences
Minimum? 5 years' experience in one or more of the following: Engineering,Purchasing/Procurement,Supply Chain
Qualifications
Validated analytical and problem-solving approach and skills.
Possess communication and influencing ability and apersuasive advocate.
Strong influencing and relationship management.
Innovative andcollaboration focused.
Able to work independently as well as with a crossfunctional team.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications and knowledge of SAP will beadded advantage.
