Function Description:
This role is responsible for ensuring appropriate and consistent accounting and reporting for American Express Credit Corporation ("Credco"), its subsidiaries and related entities which includes ensuring adherence to US GAAP accounting principles, as well as providing analysis, reports and support to business partners. The role also includes Management reporting of Cash for AXP and its related entities, governance, and analytics.
Purpose of the Role:
Ensuring the completeness and accuracy of accounting and reporting
Ensuring timely and accurate management reporting of Cash
Providing support for PwC review and to business partners
Assisting in critical funding optimization projects.
Providing critical analytical support to Market Controllership
Responsibilities:
Assist with the monthly pricing and accounting for Sale of Receivables process.
Cash management reporting and analytics, policy updates.
Preparation of monthly controls including reconciliations, Bank runs, Transfer of Receivables (TOR) collateral check, FX calculations, Inter Co Dashboard and review of agreements.
Preparation of quarterly financials for Credco and other subsidiaries. Assisting in annual audits and ensure timely closure.
Supporting Treasury in critical funding optimization projects.
Providing analytical support for Regulatory Reporting team in Reg filings for Credco entities.
Supporting market controllership in IFRS reporting on Sale of receivables process.
Additional responsibilities include participation in special projects and supporting PwC review.

Provide analytical support to stakeholders on various process and projects impacting Credco and its subsidiaries.
Support auditors and ensure timely completion of audits.

Past Experience:
Experience in SEC / BHC / Legal Entity reporting
Excellent collaborative and relationship building skills
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Knowledge of Platforms:
ORACLE/Essbase/BIEE

Academic Background:
CA/CPA plus 2-3 years of experience in finance and accounting operations.
US GAAP knowledge in the areas of financial Instruments
