Job Summary
The Marketing Manager for Northern Europe (NE) will develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that support the region sales objectives in alignment with the global goals.
This role requires a deep understanding of cloud services and involves close collaboration with major hyperscalers such as AWS, Microsoft, and Google Cloud Platform.
The successful candidate will work closely and collaboratively with the country sales leader and team.
They will develop & execute the marketing plan for the Northern Europe region leveraging global campaigns aligned to strategic BU priorities while ensuring local relevance and impact.
They will drive he creation of impactful content and the implementation of effective marketing campaigns that enhance brand visibility and lead generation across the region.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Planning:Develop and execute a detailed marketing plan that aligns with sales objectives and regional goals, including budget planning and marketing mix strategies.
Hyperscaler Collaboration:Coordinate with major hyperscalers and the alliance team to create sub-marketing plans that leverage available marketing funds and resources.
Target Audience Segmentation:Define a segmented target audience for each campaign to better align messaging
Content Creation & Messaging:Generate and leverage global content to support marketing programs across the marketing funnel (tofu, mofu, bofu) and relevant channels. Utilize input from local and global subject matter experts (SMEs) to create relevant and engaging content.
C-Level Relationship:Manage and expand C-Level relationships specifically for the Northern Europe (NE) sub-region.
Marketing Campaign Execution:Oversee and drive the implementation of diverse marketing activities ensuring compliance with brand guidelines and achieving optimal awareness and pipeline generation outcomes.
Work with the Integrated Marketing team and local agencies, as approved, to execute plans.
Drive digital marketing/social media campaigns and maintain any relevant website content.
Plan and execute events with central event team support to ensure memorable customer experiences and generate demand.
Lead Account-Based Marketing campaigns closely aligned with sales strategies.
Manage lead generation, lead distribution, and lead tracking using Salesforce, Marketing tools and hyperscaler portals.
Marketing Results:Document and report on the execution and results of marketing plans, internally and to hyperscalers (for the joint activities) to demonstrate ROI and achievement against KPIs for campaigns and programs.
Collaboration and Communication:Regularly interact with regional peers and the global team to share and adopt successful marketing practices.
Sales Alignment:Maintain a close working relationship and regularly communicate with the regional sales team to ensure marketing strategies effectively support sales objectives.
Qualifications.
Experience:At least 8 years of field marketing experience, preferably in the cloud services industry.
Industry Knowledge:Strong understanding of cloud technologies and services, and customer needs within the cloud sector.
Track Record:Proven ability to achieve significant marketing results.
Creative Thinking:Empathetic and creative mindset with the capability to think outside the box to solve problems and/or address opportunities.
Content Development:Experienced in developing compelling content and messaging.
Program Management:End-to-end management of marketing programs, from ideation through execution and outcome measurement.
Language Skills:Fluent in English.
Technical Skills:Experience with Salesforce, Hubspot, Google Analytics or similar tools, including the use of GenAI technologies.
Teamwork:Excellent team player with strong end-to-end thinking and collaborative skills.
