What you'll do
The IT Operations Technician is responsible for providing services offering technical advice based on current and changing customer / business / user needs (regarding IT requirements) and ensure customer satisfaction with Vodafone?s IT products and services in line with Customer Services Management strategy.IT Operations Technician performs defined tasks to support operations, administration and maintenance of assigned applications, services, systems and solutions, including first line incident/problem management, change and release management and any necessary vendor management.Typically reports to the Senior IT Operations Team Leader.
Who you are
* Provides transactional services that support the monitoring, operating, maintaining and improvement of IT operations;
* Uses established processes and policies to provide consistent advice to end users and keep the system/ service in good working order, preventing incidents from arising and restoring system/service to normal operation;
* Executes assigned tasks to support effectively with incident management, problem management, change and release management;
* Exchanges information to deliver assigned tasks;
* Performs other job-related duties or tasks defined by the supervisor or resulting from assigned agendas.
