About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Engineering Manager to lead and manage our engineering team being responsible for building our DAZN Apple applications available on customers' Smart TVs and mobile devices by delivering high-quality features while ensuring the performance and stability of our application.
This role requires a hands-on technical leader who is capable of guiding the team through complex technical challenges and contributing to the codebase. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in software development, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of managing teams to deliver robust and scalable applications
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Management:Mentor and manage a team of software engineers, conducting regular performance reviews and career development sessions.
Technical Guidance:Provide hands-on technical support, review architectural designs, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
Delivery & Execution:Oversee the planning and execution of features, collaborate with stakeholders, and mitigate risks to ensure timely delivery.
Performance & Quality:Enhance monitoring of KPIs, resolve performance issues, and promote non-functional requirements.
Collaboration & Communication:Facilitate communication between engineering and other departments, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
5+ years in software development, with experience in Native applications (Mobile & TV).
2+ years in a leadership role.
Proficiency in Swift/Object C and other mobile development frameworks.
Strong knowledge of performance optimization, scalability, and application stability.
Experience with agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and mobile testing frameworks.
