Our Engineering Director is responsible for leading engineering teams across multiple platforms to define and drive future strategic roadmaps leading to the best user experience, regulatory compliance, agility and availability for our platforms.

Do you have a solid technical and leadership background managing platforms that support a critical domain? Do you have experience leading major technology transformation of complex global platforms with distributed technology teams and business partners? If the answer to above questions is yes, then this is the role for you.
You will be responsible for the people leadership of multiple engineering teams, each with up to 10 engineers on Disputes and Fraud Servicing Management platform supporting the Global Customer Servicing Organization. You will lead the delivery for our existing Disputes and Fraud Servicing platforms and will also provide strategic direction for their transformation to cloud based, Open-Source Technology Stack.

Responsibilities include:
Define and lead roadmap for Global Disputes and Fraud Servicing platforms in the portfolio
Collaborating with technical leaders across a broader technology ecosystem to design platform architecture and drive continuous improvements of new frameworks/pattern
Successfully develop, deploy, support, and monitor software across various environments
Delivering software solutions that meet or exceed customer and partner expectations by developing and driving innovation and experimentation within Technology
Recruiting skilled engineering talent with business and industry experience
Play an active part in the open source community of technical practice
Work with Staff Architects / Engineers to define solution requirements and technical implementation approach.
Drive both high-level and detailed technical designs and conduct design reviews as needed.
Recent coding experience
Provide technical mentorship to other software engineers at all levels.
Implement new, highly scalable platform components.
Drive platform capabilities enabled with advancement in the technology including machine learning, deep learning, NLP, search and cognitive computing.

Qualifications:
Requires technical and business knowledge in multiple disciplines specifically Disputes, Case Management and current technology stack – PEGA PRPC, Smart Dispute Framework, XML, Restful APIs etc.
Extensive hands-on experience delivering on open source platforms like React JS.
Experience in building products powered by data science and machine learning
Demonstrated ability to lead engineering teams in Agile/Scrum-based product driven development including experience transforming a team and adopting SAFe/Agile/Lean principles
Innovative problem solver with the ability to generate and implement a strategy - Experience re-platforming existing applications, including; infrastructure, architecture and frameworks
Experience with developer environment & continuous integration is a definite asset
Passion for learning new technologies
Experience implementing and utilizing continuous integration, orchestration, and delivery tool chains, including test automation frameworks
Ability to establish and maintain relationships with other business and technology leaders - Strong written and verbal communication skills coupled with the ability to tailor communication to all levels of the organization
Demonstrated ability to lead in a matrixed organization through a combination of influence, partnership, and authority
Ability to hire, motivate, and grow a high performing team of domain experts delivering on strategic objectives while continuously evolving and improving.
