About the Team:

We are seeking a Technical Quality Assurance Director/Manager to oversee our quality assurance program for our SaaS company. The successful candidate will lead a team responsible for testing, assessing and validating software products to ensure they meet the company's standards for quality and reliability.

Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain quality assurance policies and procedures:The Quality Assurance Manager will be responsible for establishing and maintaining the company's quality assurance policies and procedures. This includes identifying relevant quality standards and regulations, developing processes to ensure compliance, and implementing best practices.
Design and implement testing strategies:The Quality Assurance Manager will lead the development and implementation of testing strategies for all software products. This includes defining testing methodologies, creating test plans and cases, executing tests, and analyzing results.
Manage and coach the QA team:The Quality Assurance Manager will lead a team of QA professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure that team members are performing their duties effectively and efficiently. This includes coaching and mentoring team members, providing training and development opportunities, and evaluating performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams:The Quality Assurance Manager will work closely with other teams, including product management, development, and customer support, to ensure that quality considerations are integrated into the product development process. This includes providing feedback and recommendations for product improvements and collaborating on issue resolution.
Develop metrics and reporting:The Quality Assurance manager will be responsible for tracking and reporting on the performance of the quality assurance program. This includes developing relevant metrics, analysing data, and presenting findings to key stakeholders.
Continuous improvement:The Quality Assurance Manager will be responsible for continuously improving the quality assurance program, including identifying areas for improvement, developing and implementing improvement initiatives, and monitoring progress.
Ensure compliance:The Quality Assurance Manager will ensure that the company is complying with relevant quality standards and regulations. This includes identifying compliance requirements, developing processes to ensure compliance, and coordinating with internal and external auditors.
Risk management:The Quality Assurance Manager will identify and manage risks related to product quality, including assessing the impact of defects and issues, prioritizing testing efforts, and collaborating with other teams to mitigate risks.

Required Skills and Qualifications :
Min of 10+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 4 to 5 years of experience managing a team of QA professionals.
Experience with SaaS software development and deployment.
Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, including manual and automated testing.
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proven experience in implementing quality assurance best practices and continuous improvement programs.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
