professional for India (dominant responsibility) within APJ region.
Job Description:
As
a part of this role, you will be primarily responsible and involved in
undertaking all aspects of direct taxation compliances and transfer
pricing/internation tax governance topics across entities for the Siemens
Healthineers Group ('Group') within India and other countries for the APJ
region. Reporting to the Direct Tax Lead, you will play a critical role in
ensuring compliance with tax regulations, supporting in managing tax risks,
work towards improving/ automating tax processes and controls to support the
company's business objectives.
Your tasks and responsibilities:
Manages
and undertakes various tax compliances such as tax reporting in financials,
filing of Income-tax returns of Indian entities and foreign affiliates in India,
TDS/ TCS related compliances, Tax Audit (Form 3CD) and Transfer pricing forms
and other tax compliances etc.
Support
transfer pricing related activities/compliances including TP steering,
preparation of Transfer Pricing Documentation etc for the APJ region.
Manage
tax audits, inquiries, and controversies with tax authorities, undertaking data
analytics, undertaking tax research, drafting tax response, submissions, ensuring
timely resolution and minimizing tax liabilities. May act as first accountable
point of contact for tax authorities.
Drives
and supports process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance the
efficiency and accuracy of tax compliance and reporting processes.
Provide
tax-related training and support to internal stakeholders to increase tax
awareness and compliance within the organization.

Your qualifications and experience:
Bachelor's
degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. Advanced degree (e.g.,
Chartered Accountant or equivalent) preferred.
Relevant
experience (0-3 years) in direct taxation, international taxation, and transfer
pricing with a focus on India.
Proficiency
in tax compliance and working knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and
tax automation/ software tools is desirable.
Your attributes and skills:
Sound
technical knowledge of Indian tax laws and regulations, including corporate
income tax, withholding tax. Working knowledge of transfer pricing and international
tax regulation is desirable.
Team
player with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate
effectively with internal and external stakeholders across different cultures
and geographies.
Fluency
in English is must.
