Devops Engineer

HIRING FOR AMAZONResponsibilities & Requirements:- In-depth understanding of the AWS ecosystem, including EC2, S3, DynamoDB, Redshift, Lambda, SQS, EKS, VPC, Route 53 Networking, and more.- Proficiency in containerization technologies and orchestration tools like Kubernetes, along with knowledge of ServiceMesh (istio) and helm charts.- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and configuration management tools like Ansible.- Strong grasp of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices, preferably with experience in Jenkins and creating shared libraries for custom configurations.- Working knowledge of Application Performance Monitoring (APM) tools like Datadog and service discovery tools such as Consul.- Familiarity with ELK stack/Prometheus Grafana stack and open telemetry.- Excellent problem-solving skills, with a solid foundation in computer science fundamentals, including operating systems and networking concepts (peering, transit gateway, tunnel, etc.).- Proficiency in coding and scripting languages such as Java, PHP, Shell scripting, Perl, Ruby, and Python.- Proven experience in working with databases, including SQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB, Neo4J, with the ability to understand internals and optimizations.- Knowledge of data warehouses, data lakes, and experience in building data pipelines is advantageous.- Ownership mentality towards technical issues, with a commitment to research, diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve problems effectively.- Startup mindset with the agility to operate at a rapid pace, coupled with the ability to implement processes suitable for various stages of company growth.- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.- At least 1 year of professional software engineering experience.- Strong aptitude for debugging and fixing production issues promptly, with the ability to address short-term and long-term concerns.- Experience with debugging and fixing Java-based microservices is a plus.
