What you'll do
The IT Deployment Specialist works on the deployment activities for the applications, devices and products which have been developed, testing and ensuring readiness for the operational environment, including overall release management.The IT Deployment Specialist has a good understanding of established concepts and procedures in the integration and flow of the application/product gained through extensive practical experience and delivers end-to-end application testing, ensuring it is fit-for-purpose and released properly into the production systems.Typically reports to the IT Deployment Manager or Senior IT Deployment Team Leader.
Job Description
1.Monitor the service and detect any anomalies or problems proactively
2.Manage incident troubleshooting both from application and infrastructure; Resolve and liaise with the project ream for problem resolution
3.Devise Backup/Restore strategy and setup the necessary mechanisms for implementation
4.SPOC for Change Advisory Board and Change Management
5.Support for software rollout and deployment using the adequate deployment strategy
6.SPOC for PBI process including resolution, coordination and reporting
Must Skills
Excellent knowledge of Unix/Linux, Oracle, Apache, Tomcat, Basic Java understanding, Knowledge of Change Control Systems (GIT, SVN)
Deep Knowledge of shell scripting, phython scripting, Splunk, Networking, Snooping
Knowledge, SQL and PL/SQL orNoSQL (MongoDB) and cluster/scaling setup
Java/other application language skills in troubleshooting the applications/Customer raisedissues.
