The HR Operations team effectively maintains employee information that meets the organization's legal obligations and assists in human resource management and planning by recommending, developing and implementing new processes and analyses.
This role in summary
The Compensation and Benefits Analyst will be responsible for managing end-to-end technical and operational activities within the C&B function. This role demands high attention to detail, expertise in data management, and the ability to work across multiple compensation, benefits, and compliance initiatives. The candidate will ensure the integrity of compensation processes, policy renewals, and reporting while contributing to strategic reviews and process improvements.
Your responsibilities will include
Compensation Management
Compensation Survey and Market Pricing:
Participate in and manage market compensation surveys to ensure competitive pay structures.
Conduct market pricing analyses to align pay structures with industry benchmarks.
Pay Planning and Data Management:
Perform Pay Planning Testing, upload pricing data, and conduct post-load audits to ensure accuracy.
Lead pay planning activities for the Asia region, acting as the key point of contact.
Oversee creation of job codes and market data extensions for roles.
Job Evaluation:
Evaluate new and existing roles to determine appropriate job grades and alignment within the organization's pay structure.
Retention and Off-Cycle Reviews:
Conduct bi-weekly retention and off-cycle pay reviews, ensuring alignment with internal equity and budgetary constraints.
Data Compliance and Reporting
Data Compliance:
Ensure all compensation and benefits processes comply with internal policies.
Monthly and Annual Reporting:
Handle monthly provisioning for benefits, support GMC/GTL/GPA data management processes.
Conduct AARs (After Action Reviews) for pay planning.
Benefits Administration
Policy Renewal and Management:
Oversee the annual renewal of benefits policies such as GMC (Group Medical Cover) GTL (Group Term Life) and GPA (Group Personal Accident).
Manage employee benefits policies and ensure compliance with benefits standards.
Recognition and Rewards
Plan and execute Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual R&R (Rewards and Recognition) initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Drive virtual sessions like Prarambh for employee onboarding.
Operations Support
Act as the focal point for the HR Operations Inbox, addressing queries and escalating issues as needed.
Conduct regular data audits and manage the monthly Helpdesk to resolve employee concerns effectively.
Minimum requirements
Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
2-3+ years of experience in Compensation and Benefits or a similar HR operations role.
Familiarity with benefits programs like GTL, GPA, and corporate policy management.
Knowledge of global and regional compensation trends and compliance requirements.
Preferred skills and experiences
Data Analytics: Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, macros), and working knowledge of data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
Attention to Detail: Ability to identify discrepancies in large datasets and resolve them promptly.
Process Management: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple concurrent activities effectively.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to liaise with cross-functional teams and leadership.
Technical Expertise: Experience with HRIS systems and survey tools, such as Mercer or other benchmarking platforms.
