Responsibilities
•Design, develop, test, and maintain API management solutions for cloud hosting. This may include building reusable API proxies, migrating applications and troubleshooting issue.
•Admin Lead analytical and consulting sessions to solve technical problems, perform system health checks, and troubleshoot production issues. Admins may also lead capacity planning and management activities.
•Traffic management: load balancing, dynamic upstream, canary release, circuit breaking, and authentication.
•Plugins: Plugins can cover areas such as authentication, security, observability, and traffic management.
•Deployment modes and Access control
Design:
?Participate and own designs of one or more modules in microservices architecture.
?Design the agreed requirement adhering to the project architecture and design standards.
?Document design and solution in high level or low-level design documentations as per project standards.
?Design and implement Microservices-based solutions, ensuring modularity, scalability, and resilience.
?Define API contracts and communication protocols between Microservices.
?Expertise in designing SOAP, REST APIs and TMF APIs is a must.
?Experience in designing TMF APIs in microservices architecture using the design patterns is a required skill.
Develop:
•Develop and maintain SpringBoot applications.
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement software solutions.
•Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that meets industry standards and best practices.
Investigation & Problem Solving:
?Participate in deciding and recommending the technologies and tools that best fit the business requirements.
?Research and investigate to find out proper solution for technical problems.
?Ability to compare and assess technical solutions & tools/products.
?Take personal ownership for issue resolution with good negotiating and problem-solving skills.
Reporting:
?On time reporting and escalation of projects problems.
?Clear and accurate reporting.
Coaching & Technical guidance:
?Own one or more modules of the project(s) under development.
?Responsible for providing technical guidance, mentoring, and coaching for the junior team members.
?Review code of juniors' team members and recommends necessary rework.
Quality:
?Implement the agreed requirement with high level of quality.
?Review code of junior's members with providing clear feedback.
?Number of defects during QA & UAT process should be well within the agreed project SLA.
Technical Estimate:
?Should be familiar with the requirements estimation process and be able to provide estimates for self and team's task.
Systems Support:
?Support production systems while taking care of implementing the required KPIs.
?Ability to investigate the root cause, recommend and implement proper technical solution within the agreed SLA.
