Db2 Administrator

DB2 Administrator are the gatekeepers to the many systems that run our company and our clients. As a Storage & Backup lead with IBM, you will have the opportunity to provide high-value IT services and leverage our leading-edge technology portfolio in our global network. Your work has a direct impact on the day-to-day productivity of our business by ensuring integrity of, and access to, our most important resource data. You will need to visit the domestic client's offices / data centres on a daily basis or on an as-needed basis as part of this role.
Role and ResponsibilitiesInstallation and Configuration of IBM DB2 LUW on Linux Environments.
Offer DBA DB2 support for application and development team.
Performance tuning and troubleshooting of DB2 Database
Perform Health check activities, monitoring, backup, space management, Maintenance i.e. Reorg / Run stat utilities
Ensure integrity, availability and performance of DB2 database systems by providing technical support and maintenance.
Experience with configuring and usage of Clustering, db2diag and notification logs, snapshot and event monitor
Setup and maintenance of Data replication services using HADR.
Ready to work on 24/7 shifts to support client requirement.
