Apply to us today.As a Compact Modeling Testchip Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the formulation and design of test-structures for spice model development. Also, for coordinating with the layout engineers and verifying the layouts. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:Coordinate with the Compact modeling/Process engineers to understand the design requirements of test structures for spice model development.Formulate and define test-structures for MOSFET and Interconnect modeling to tape-out in scribe/die areas of a wafer for bench and volume parametric characterization.Connect with CAD and layout teams for building the layout of test-structures.Verify the layout of test-structures for design and functionality.Document details of test-structures taped out in a project.Analyze DC and AC device data characterized on the modeling test-structures.Formulate the design and tapeout of benchmark circuits.Simulate benchmark circuits' design/layouts for checking their functionality and model to hardware corelation.Automate different aspects of the work to improve efficiency.Successful Candidates for this position will have: 3+ Years ExperienceHands on experience in building MOSFETs and interconnect layouts.Experience in working in a multi-functional environment.Good command of Linux/Unix.Strong command of EDA tools for circuit simulation and layout.Solid understanding in semiconductor CMOS device physics/process.Knowledge in wafer-level device characterization is a plus.Proficiency in English Language - written & verbal.Programming skills in Python/Perl/R.Education:Bachelors (B.Tech, BS) or Masters (M.Tech, MS) in Electrical Engineering, or in an equivalent area with 3-5 years of relevant job experience.About Micron Technology, Inc.We are an industry leader in innovative memory and storage solutions transforming how the world uses information to enrich lifefor all.
