Cloud Manager

As a Development Manager for IBM Cloud Databases, which is a set of managed databases on IBM Cloud, you will use your knowledge and experience to help drive IBM Cloud Databases roadmap, priorities, lead complex programs from initiation to delivery, and collaborate with the other engineering teams in IBM Cloud. You will work closely with the Product Management and Technical Architects to deliver the strategic imperatives for the service. You'll be part of a bright engineering team that embraces open communication, empowerment, innovation, teamwork and a shared focus on customer success
Responsibilities:As a Development Manager, you will play a key role in the success of the IBM Cloud Databases organization which is a critical PaaS service offering from IBM Cloud.
As a Development Manager, you will be the key driver to planning delivery using Agile practices, training and ramp-up needs of the team, driving operational efficiencies and tooling and responding to customer and support issues for your squad.
To maintain competitive advantage, managers must be able to work quickly and produce high-quality status and ensure that they are bridging any gaps between various dependencies as well as bringing the proper awareness to any blockers to upper management.
Working with other database squads to resolve common issues better, being able to drive efficiencies is also key.
