About the Role:We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Business Intelligence Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of relevant experience in business intelligence, with a strong proficiency in SQL and Python. As a Business Intelligence Manager, you will play a crucial role in leveraging data to drive strategic decision-making and business growth.
Responsibilities:
Data Analysis and Interpretation: Utilize SQL and Python to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from various sources, including databases, data warehouses, and external APIs. Interpret complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business strategies.
Business Reporting: Develop and maintain comprehensive dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs), business metrics, and operational efficiency. Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
Strategic Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business objectives and define analytical requirements. Translate business needs into data-driven solutions, strategies, and initiatives that drive growth and innovation.
Data Management: Oversee data governance and quality assurance processes to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of data assets. Implement best practices for data modeling, data cleansing, and data validation.
Tool Development and Automation: Design and implement custom tools, scripts, and algorithms to automate repetitive tasks, streamline workflows, and improve efficiency. Continuously explore new technologies and methodologies to enhance the business intelligence infrastructure.
Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of business intelligence analysts, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities. Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that encourages creativity, innovation, and continuous learning.
Qualifications:
-Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
-Minimum of 2 years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or a similar role.
-Proficiency in SQL for data querying, manipulation, and optimization.
-Strong programming skills in Python for data analysis, scripting, and automation.
-Experience with business intelligence tools and platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
-Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, data modelling techniques, and ETL processes.
-Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
-Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
-Proven leadership experience, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team towards common goals.
